Short Fort William Hikes
There are some short hikes around Fort William that are less arduous, but still give you fantastic views and a great day, or half day outdoors.

Steall Falls & Nevis Gorge
Distance: 9km / 5.6 miles
Ascent: 300m / 985 feet
Duration: 3-4 hours
Terrain: uneven path
Difficulty: easy to moderate
A stunning forest walk following the winding Water of Nevis through Nevis Gorge to the dramatic Steall Falls.
At the end of the hike, there's a wire rope bridge over the river for the adventurous!
