Walk Planning Service: Scotland
At over £200 per day, hiring a walking guide isn’t cheap, especially if you’re visiting Scotland for a few days of hiking. My walk planning service gives you a virtual local guide for your walking trip to Scotland. I’ll help you plan suitable walks, provide digital routes and answer any questions.
How Does Walk Planning Work?
We’ll have a discussion via email, call or Zoom to identify routes that suits your goals, fitness level and hiking experience. If you’re looking for something specific like a wild swimming spot, sunset/sunrise hikes, wild camping, ridge walking etc, let me know.
I’ll provide a PDF with information about each walk (route info, parking & eating options, weather forecasts etc) plus an OS Maps route or a GPX file if you use other mapping software. If you don’t have a car, I can advise on public transport and taxi options too.
On the lead up to your walk, contact me if you have any questions. Think of me as your virtual local guide.
Hike Planning Costs
For a discussion and one route, the cost is £50. For each additional route, it’s £30. If you intend to do more than three hikes, I’ll work out a custom price. I can also provide a quote to combine a day or two guiding with some route planning. Fill in the form to get started.
